My Dad.

My dad is someone special to me, he is the most loving and caring dad. My dad works at Unison. He is an electrician, not everybody gets an opportunity to be an electrician because you have to do many courses at EIT. He finds it really exciting  working at unison. My dad says,” working in unison is fabulous, the most fun thing to do in unison is doing the power line works”. My Dad used to work in fiji, there he was an electrician he worked for FEA Fiji electricity authority. He found it fun working over there  too.

Dad gives me courage in sports. Once I did not know how to play soccer but dad gave me courage and told me ”Palavi keep trying you’ll surely do it”. His favorite sport is soccer. Once I asked dad can we have pizza, fizzy for lunch he said,  “yes”. He is a fabulous cook. He makes yummiest food, roast chicken , boiled potato and cassava for lunch. Sometimes he makes cabbage, lamb and taro for dinner. He also takes my brother, my mum and I to Auckland.  Whenever we go to Auckland he takes us to Rainbows End and Chipmunks bouncy castle. We stay at dad’s brother's house. When we return back he buys us MacDonald.

That's the reason I like my dad.

You need to ensure that the buoyancy tank bung is screwed in place so that it won’t sink.

All people on the water have to wear a properly fitted life jacket.

Just remember to stay seated when moving .

There are no brakes on a yacht but if you need to slow down or even stop simply steer the front (bow) of the boat so it is pointing into the wind then release the mainsheet rope .

With all the traffic around it is really important that you always watch where you are steering so you and others can be safe.

If you hear one whistle stop and listen while 2  whistle blasts means come back to shore immediately . If you are in trouble on the water call HELP and wave your hands above your head

Wheels day sports

On Friday last week we did wheels day sports. It was a really good day  and I really liked going through the hoop and where we control a plastic egg on a spoon and where we go inside a bag and
jump and rolling the ball and passing the ball.

Here are some photo's of that lovely day
